Sterling Recruitment Services have a fantastic opportunity for an Business Development Manager to join our engineering client based in Teesside.
Candidates for the Business Development Manager role MUST HAVE an established background and experience in Engineering and Contracting industries in the North-East of England and possess an existing and well-established network of industry contacts on Teesside.



Our client are�a diversified engineering business, providing Engineering, Design, Fabrication, Procurement, Full Project Delivery and O&M services across a range of sectors, including:

Biomass & Power Generation

Port & Infrastructure

Manufacturing & Process industries

Food & Beverage

Data Centres
They provide their�customers an End-to-End full-service offering including Mechanical engineering solutions, plus the Electrical, Controls and Automation elements. Our client has been in business for 45 years and has been operating on Teesside for the past 8 years successfully delivering several major projects. They plan to build on that success in the North-East of England by strengthening the team based out of their Middlesbrough office.�



Requirements:

A strong background and experience in Engineering and Contracting industries on Teesside and the North-East of England.

Possess an existing and well-established network of relevant industry contacts on Teesside.

Ability to gain access to major engineering projects in the region and secure an opportunity to submit a bid for relevant scope.

A professional manner with excellent communication skills and ability to fulfil a Business Development role.



Role Profile:

Identify and target potential projects and clients in the engineering sector.

Develop and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers.

Collaborate with inhouse technical, engineering and estimating teams to ensure accurate and timely submission of bids.

Identify new business opportunities.

Attend industry conferences and seminars.



Package & Benefits

Basic salary up to �75,000 DOE

Car Allowance - �9,000 per annum + mileage

Employer Pension - 5%

Bonus - up to 20% of basic salary per annum
