Position: Business Development Manager

Location: Bristol (Permanent)

Salary: £35,000 - £40,000

Are you an avid networker who has a spark for igniting new business?

MDE are partnered with a family-owned fuel and lubricant distribution company and are seeking a talented Business Development Manager to join their commercial sales team and cover the South Wales/Gloucestershire area.

What will your day to day look like?


  • Provide excellent customer service to existing customers
  • Obtain regular and repeat business and multi sales
  • Build a portfolio of new customers
  • Approaching customers in all sectors (Fleet, Industrial, Agriculture, Off-road etc ) using a variety of communication methods.
  • Submit orders referring to price lists
  • Plan and organise daily work schedule
  • Tailor sales presentations for customers
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge
  • Work towards achieving your targets and enabling growth
  • Represent the business in National Exhibitions
