Fantastic opportunity in the Darlington area for a Business Development / Sales professional with sound commercial knowledge of the waste sector, to join a forward-thinking industry leader. Ideally you will have experience of Hazardous Waste services, but candidates who have General Waste sales experience and are keen to specialise, will also be considered.
This is role involves all new business wins - there are no account management responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities:
You will identify and implement sizeable new Hazardous Waste accounts through exploring the potential markets to collect and transport Hazardous Waste. The main focus being from within the Manufacturing and Distribution sectors.
Developing and managing a detailed new business pipeline capable of providing a clear business forecast of expected volumes and over-achieving on targeted new business sales revenues.
Producing reports to give visibility of current activity and forecast new activity.
Working closely with the Depot and Sales Management teams to identify the industry sectors and locations in which to target new business wins.
Accurately maintaining data within the CRM platform.
