Are you a driven sales professional with a passion for building relationships?



This is an exciting opportunity for a Business Development Manager to join a leading company in the Factory Automation industry! In this results-oriented role, you'll be responsible for generating significant sales growth within a designated territory encompassing the M62 corridor and above, including Scotland.



Responsibilities:




  • Drive Sales Growth:�Develop and execute strategies to achieve ambitious sales targets for the company's Factory Automation product portfolio.

  • Build a Sustainable Business:�Cultivate strong relationships with key customers and prospects across various target markets, including Packaging Machine OEMs, Special Purpose Machine Builders, Food & Beverage, and Assembly/Handling sectors.

  • Lead Generation & Account Management:�Proactively generate qualified leads through various channels, manage the sales pipeline effectively, and foster long-term relationships with existing accounts.

  • Expert Presentations & Engagement:�Deliver compelling sales presentations, demonstrations, and proposals to capture customer interest and secure deals.

  • Collaboration & Teamwork:�Work closely with internal teams (engineering, marketing) and external partners (distributors) to ensure successful project execution.

  • CRM Mastery:�Utilize the company's CRM system effectively to manage customer data, track opportunities, and generate insightful reports.



You'll be a great fit if you have:




  • 3-5 years of experience in B2B sales, preferably within Factory Automation or a related industry.

  • A strong understanding of sales methodologies and a proven track record of exceeding sales targets.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to engage customers at all levels.

  • A collaborative mindset and the ability to build strong relationships with diverse stakeholders.

  • Proficiency in CRM systems and a knack for organization and data management.

  • A passion for learning new technologies and a commitment to continuous professional development.
