Inizio Engage are working with a globally renowned healthcare company whose products and services are used to help care for critically and chronically ill patients.



As a PN Business Development Manager, you would be reporting direct to the National Sales Manager (NSM) and working within the PN Business Stream as part of a multi-disciplinary sales team.



This role would suit individuals with sales experience in a healthcare or NHS setting, or those with a background as a Pharmacist or Dietitian, who can engage in peer-to-peer conversations and demonstrate strong drive and proactivity.



This role is full-time, field-based across the North West, North Wales & North Midlands and the ideal candidate would be based in any of these areas.



Responsibilities




  • Implement the tactical element of the marketing plan through delivery of key messages to the target audience as directed by the PN Sales and Marketing management teams

  • Exceed sales versus target for promotional priorities

  • Develop and implement business plans and strategies for both the company and competitor key accounts

  • Work with the NSM to develop solutions/presentations for tender submissions for target accounts

  • Work with the NSM to develop and implement strategies to secure and grow business in all accounts

  • Consistently communicate with all relevant personnel, on business objectives and provide detailed call notes on the CRM

  • Work to set call rate guidelines as identified by the NSM and associated activity reporting via the CRM System

  • Take the lead role in developing and implementing account business plans

  • Work with the management team to develop successful sales strategies in your designated key accounts

  • Liaise with all relevant departments and personnel to achieve business objectives. In particular, your NSM, MSLs, Marketing and Customer Services



Experience/qualifications




  • Life science degree or equivalent

  • Proven track record in pharmaceutical sales or the NHS

  • Demonstrate good business acumen

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
