Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute strategic business development plans to identify and pursue new opportunities within the UK/European defence sector
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers, influencers, and stakeholders in the defence industry
- Conduct market research, analyze trends, and identify emerging requirements for RF/Antenna systems in the defence sector
- Prepare compelling proposals, presentations, and sales materials tailored to the specific needs of defence clients
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and trade shows, promoting our products and services
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, operations, and project management, to ensure successful project execution
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant regulations, standards, and compliance requirements in the defence industry
Qualifications and Experience:
- Master's/Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, Communications, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in business development or sales roles, with a focus on RF/Antenna systems or related technologies
- Proven success in selling to the UK/European defence market, with an established network of contacts and relationships
- In-depth understanding of RF/Antenna systems, their applications, and the unique requirements of the defence industry
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex technical information to non-technical audiences
- Strong negotiation and closing skills, with a track record of achieving sales targets and objectives
- Willingness to travel extensively within the UK/Europe to meet with clients and attend industry events
- Proficiency in relevant software tools and applications, such as CRM systems and Microsoft Office suite
