Nter Talent is currently working with a large UK food wholesale business who are well established supplying into high end restaurants, hotels and large organisations. We are looking for a BDM to join the team working to secure new contracts as they grow.�





Job Description:





We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for expanding our customer base by selling fresh produce to restaurants, hotels, and large organizations. This role requires a strategic thinker with a passion for sales and a deep understanding of the food and hospitality industry.



Key Responsibilities:




  • Identify and target new business opportunities within the foodservice sector, including restaurants, hotels, and large organizations.

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure customer satisfaction and repeat business.

  • Conduct market research to stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and potential new markets.

  • Create and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals to prospective clients.

  • Negotiate contracts and close deals to meet and exceed sales targets.

  • Collaborate with the logistics and operations teams to ensure timely and accurate delivery of orders.

  • Provide regular sales reports and forecasts to management.



Requirements:






  • Proven experience as a Business Development Manager or in a similar sales role within the foodservice or hospitality industry.

  • Strong understanding of the fresh produce market and supply chain.

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients.

  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and capable of working independently.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software.

  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel as needed.
