Our client is looking for an energetic Business Development Manager to focus on securing new customers and create sales initiatives. You will be working with the Account Manager to secure position in the marketplace, this role is suited for someone proactive, results-oriented, and equipped with a tenacious approach to finding new business.

Key Responsibilities – Business Development Manager


  • Engage potential clients in the construction and utilities sector through both inbound and outbound leads.
  • Craft and execute sales strategies aimed at securing new business, prioritising relationship building to secure ongoing profitable work.
  • Manage the entire sales cycle, from lead generation to contract closure, aligning with the fast-paced nature of the market.
  • Represent the company at industry conferences and client meetings, which are primarily remote.
  • Work in tandem with the Finance and Logistics team to ensure a seamless onboarding of new clients and ongoing work.

Qualifications & Requirements – Business Development Manager


  • 3-5 years of experience in sales or business development, preferably with construction, utilities or Vac Ex experience.
  • Demonstrated prowess in building strong, trust-based client relationships.
  • Competence in autonomous working and managing a remote work setup.
  • Understanding of operations and logistics.
  • Proven record of meeting sales targets and fostering business growth.
