They're the preferred financing platform for many of the world’s leading e-commerce sites, tech companies & payment service providers and their software platform enables partners to offer flexible financing products under their branding without any capital risk.
Role Overview:
We are looking for a dynamic German-speaking Business Development Manager to join their growing team. This role blends direct sales with relationship management, focusing on hunting and pitching new partners while managing and growing existing ones. The goal is to enhance this portfolio through new acquisitions and to scale existing partners.
Key Responsibilities:
Build a portfolio of partnerships across DACH.
Present performance metrics to senior management and C-level executives.
Identify and secure partnerships with various referral partners, ranging from brokerages and financial advisors to less traditional partners like franchisors.
Develop and implement scalable account management strategies.
Deliver new business acquisition strategies across Germany and Europe through marketing activities, relationship management, and partner events.
Create and present engaging training, webinars, and workshops.
Support the European Business Development Lead with key partners and process improvements.
Utilise networking skills through social media and event attendance.
Travel and organise social events for partners.
Requirements:
Fluent in German, both verbal and written.
3+ years of partnership sales/business development experience.
Proven track record of hitting revenue targets through originating, negotiating, and closing partnership agreements.
Experience with prospect outreach and building effective targeting strategies.
Strong reporting skills, with the ability to present jurisdiction performance concisely to senior management.
Excellent communication skills, able to simplify complex solutions for senior management.
Motivated, accountable, and eager to contribute to a fast-growing company.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with multiple demands.
Entrepreneurial spirit with strong networking and presentation skills.
