We are delighted to be working with a leading international law firm who are looking for a talented Business Development Manager to join their team based in London, with a focus on the UK and Europe.
This is a really exciting time to join this firm, who have enjoyed lots growth and success and have a strong strategic plan in place to continue this upward trajectory. This Business Development Manager role is part of that journey and will play a key role achieving in the firms objectives for their UK and Europe offices.
The culture of this firm is very down to earth, forward thinking and supportive. There are lots of opportunities for learning and development and the chance to be involved in firmwide projects and initiatives around areas such as pro-bono, responsible business and DEI.
The remit of this Business Development Manager role is varied and will include:
Working closely with the Senior BD Manager to development and execute the BD strategy across Europe
Undertake client research and outreach projects to identify new opportunities and drive cross selling initiatives
Lead on directories submissions, advising stakeholders and junior BD team members on best practice, review and finalise submissions
Take ownership of pitch and proposal projects, from initial brief to post project briefing and analysis
Identify speaking and sponsorship opportunities.
End to end management of events, ensuring that objectives are aligned to the overarching business strategy
Develop market and sector insights and research
Develop marketing collateral and content
Collaborate with BD teams in international jurisdictions to ensure opportunities are maximise and brand standards are upheld
The successful candidate for this Business Development Manager role will possess:
Strong BD and/or marketing experience gained in an international law firm environment – experience gained in a wider professional services environment can also be considered.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence manage expectations
A ‘can do’ solutions driven and proactive approach
