Business Development Manager(Ref: AJ45708)A leading seafood company, who supply many of the high-end seafood restaurants across London, are looking for a highly experienced and capable sales professional to head up their small sales team.This role will suit someone with a strong sales/business development background within the fresh food wholesale industry – ideally within seafood but those from meat or other fresh produce providers will be considered.TYPE: Permanent, full-timeWORKING HOURS: TBCSALARY: £38,000 - £45,000 + BonusSTART: ASAPLOCATION: Billingsgate Market (Office Based)Business Development Manager Main Responsibilities New business development within both the high-end restaurant scene and national hospitality chain market (pubs/restaurants/hotels/catering etc.)Conducting client visits (around 80% of time) but will need to have frequent visits to the head office for sales reports and contact with the sales teamBusiness Development Manager Ideal CandidateExperienced of working in a chilled & frozen environmentExperience of working as a block person / fishmongerGood understanding of food production, warehouse & transport environmentsAbility to work with Fresh fish / food productsGood numerical skills and attention to detailGood people skills to work with the teamFlexibility to adapt to changing requirementsHigh levels of personal hygiene** All applicants must have the right to work in the UK as the Company is not able to offer visa support.If your application is successful, you will be contacted within two business days.We regret that due to the high volume of applications we receive we cannot provide feedback on individual CVs.
