Our Nottinghamshire based client is looking for a�Business Development Manager�to join their team on a full time, permanent basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to join an established, growing business.

THE ROLE

The successful�Business Development Manager�will be responsible for achieving sales and profit targets with both existing and new customers within your focus area. Other responsibilities will include:

• Sales of standard products, maintenance and repair contracts and rental activities are among the essential tasks.


• Optimally serve customers and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction.


• Have a quick ability to make (new) contacts, schedule appointments and show a proactive approach.


• Keep up to date with trends and developments to be well prepared at every opportunity and chance.


• Work in close cooperation with Project Teams, Inside Sales and other Account Managers.


• UK travel to customers will be frequent and the potential for occasional EU travel.

THE CANDIDATE

The ideal�Business Development Manager�will have a natural talent for relationship management and be able to demonstrate the following:

• Experience in a similar sales role, preferably within the manufacturing sector.


• A proven track record in achieving sales targets and generating new business.


• A proactive and results-oriented attitude, with excellent communication.


• Logistical insight and the ability to understand and solve complex logistical issues of customers.


• Be able to work independently on the road without direct supervision.
