The company has been running for 50+ years as a leading corrugated manufacturer and are now seeking a Business Development Manager who is looking to further their career and help with the continuous growth of the company.

£50,000 to £60,000, DOE, plus benefits package

Our client is offering a salary reflecting experience with a Hybrid, Diesel or Petrol car or car allowance, 20% great bonus scheme, 25 days holiday plus bank, Life Insurance 3x salary, health care, Pension, laptop and phone.
The role will involve prospecting of new customers for the above sectors mentioned where you will predominantly selling corrugated packaging. The idea is that you will try to achieve around £250,000 in new business sales, but also manage and nurture a portfolio of accounts worth around £1,000,000.
Your day-to-day duties will be based around business development creating new opportunities for the company to increase their clientele. Your role includes dealing with new markets, growth areas, trends, customers, partnerships, services prospection, negotiation and commercial follow up of UK customers and branching out further afield acting in the markets targeted by the organisation. You will play an active part in the development of the sales budget, monitor revenue and margins, promote the image of the company and you will continue with the improvement of the initiatives of the company.
