About the role:Type: Contract (outside IR35)Length: TBD - 12+ MonthsAvailability: ImmediateReporting to the Commercial Director, we are looking for an individual to support the development of revenue generation across our key markets and strategic growth sectors. This is an exciting opportunity to help grow both new and existing markets for PurpleSector, supporting the strategic and tactical direction of the company.We are a fast moving, growing consultancy business, working in highly technical markets where we pride ourselves on operational excellence and delivery of high-quality projects to our clients by applying digital analytics and advanced engineering derived from our F1TM background.We work across several industry sectors including automotive, manufacturing, marine, aerospace, defence, pharmaceuticals, medical, consumer goods, motorsport, and climate tech.Role responsibilitiesSupport our business development process by generating and developing sales leads across all our market sectors.Preparing and making presentations to existing and prospective clients.Working with our senior leadership, operational and technical teams to develop costed client proposals.Collaborate with marketing teams to develop our marketing strategies and plans.Maintain client and other business stakeholder relationships.Collaborate with our technical teams to ensure that projects are executed on time and as agreed.Become an expert on our technologies and offeringsYou will bring:5 or more years’ experience in business development roles in technical environments, ideally in digital and or engineering sectors.Financial and commercial acumenBe comfortable with lead generation and revenue based KPI’s Have a strong appreciation for advanced engineering processes and expertiseHave a strong appreciation of the importance of brand and presentational excellence.Have experience of working with multi-disciplinary teams including technical, operational and marketing.Be comfortable with working in a fluid, fast paced environment focussed on growthThe ability to create and develop strong and lasting relationships at all levelsStrong organisational skills with a keen eye for detailBe able to manage and organise your own timePossess a positive ‘can do’ energy.
