Up to £35,000 + Car / Car AllowanceThe ClientOur client are a specialist supplier of consumables with sites in the UK, Europe and the USA. They sell a variety of consumables including cable ties, aerosols, drill bits and tape to name a few. They are looking for a Business Development Manager to join their team. The Role of Business Development Manager As a Business Development Manager, you’ll be the front line of their client’s customer interaction, ensuring their every need is catered for and every question answered. You will be joining the team at an exciting time, helping to continue the growth and establish yourself and our client as great people to do business with.Business Development Managers are responsible for developing a portfolio of Major Account customers, leveraging existing business and investigating opportunities to develop new services and products whilst at the same time nurturing and developing the key target markets for the portfolio account/s.Our client can help you succeed, here’s what you’ll need:Experience of working with OEM’s would be beneficial but not essentialAbility to spot opportunities and generate new business.Excellent communication and organisational skillsAbility to prioritise workload and work under pressure to strict deadlines.Capability to take ownership and responsibility.Ability to adapt to individual and operational change in a diverse and fast-paced organisation.Evidence of strategic account planning and account developmentFinancial and commercial acumenDriving licenceKeywords: Business Development Manager, BD Manager, Sales, Sales Manager, Hire, Account Manager
