Business Development Manager
We have an exciting opportunity working for a large engineering supplies distributor located in Sheffield. Our client are leading suppliers of Tube, Pipe, Fittings, Valves and Actuators to the UK's construction, manufacturing and offshore sectors.
Your role will as Business Development Manager for the Yorkshire region will play an integral role in the future expansion and growth plans of the Sheffield Branch.�
You will have responsible to grow and develop our customer base as you see fit with the support of an internal sales team who can assist your success.
Responsibilities and job duties will include:
- Developing new and existing products in line with new opportunities
- Build relationships with prospective clients and existing customers
- Visiting potential and existing customers where necessary
- Work with sales staff to develop organisational goals, providing data-driven input to support the future sales targets
- Record all activity and opportunities in the CRM system
- Monitor and report on call activity, e-mail activity, and other key metrics
- Analyse the market and establish competitive advantages
We are looking for candidates with the following experience:
- A proven track record of success in a Sales role in the engineering or manufacturing or metals sector.
- Skilled presenter, able to adapt an approach to suit a wide-ranging audience and handle objections with ease
- Strong negotiation skills
- A relentless learner who continually demonstrates a growth mindset
- Proven track record of creating, implementing and developing sales pipelines that have delivered revenue growth
- High attention to detail and level of accuracy
Benefits
Salary: �38,000 to �42,000 + Bonus'
