Position Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development / Account Manager to join our client based out of Leeds.The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales and account management, with specific experience selling into construction and development businesses across the U.K. This role requires a strategic thinker with exceptional communication skills and the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients.Key Responsibilities:Sales and Business Development:Identify and target new business opportunities within the construction and development sectors.Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve and exceed sales targets.Conduct market research to identify potential clients and understand their needs.Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline through proactive prospecting, networking, and lead generation.Account Management:Manage and nurture existing client relationships to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.Act as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing their needs and concerns promptly and effectively.Conduct regular account reviews to identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling additional security services.Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery and implementation of security solutions.Client Engagement:Conduct presentations and demonstrations of our security solutions to prospective clients.Prepare and deliver compelling proposals and quotations tailored to client requirements.Negotiate contracts and close deals to achieve sales objectives.Industry Knowledge:Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies in the security and construction sectors.Attend industry events, trade shows, and conferences to expand your network and promote our services.Qualifications:Proven experience in business development, sales, or account management, preferably within the security or construction industries.Strong understanding of the construction and development sectors and their specific security requirements.Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently.Willingness to travel across the U.K. as required.Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.What We Offer:Competitive salary and commission structure.Comprehensive benefits package.Opportunities for professional development and career advancement.Supportive and collaborative work environment.
