Business Development Manager

With sites in the UK, US, and Netherlands, we offer a diverse range of services including Automotive warehousing, 3PL pick & pack operations, e-commerce fulfilment, returns management, and systems development. We work with top-tier clients in various industries and provide a fully integrated end-to-end supply chain solution.
We are seeking a new Business Development Manager to join our growing business and be a critical member of our team to develop our sales pipeline further and maintain close relationships with our existing clients.
Key Responsibilities:
Relationship Management: Establish and maintain strong professional relationships with key decision-makers and influencers within targeted businesses.
Sales Expansion: Drive profitable sales growth by attracting new clients and identifying opportunities to expand within existing accounts.
Market Analysis: Gather and analyse market and industry intelligence to understand customer needs and trends, leveraging this information to generate new business.
Pipeline Development: Identify sales opportunities early in the pipeline and follow up on all quotations promptly.
Client Engagement: Deliver compelling business development presentations, negotiate contracts, and close deals with key accounts.
Sales Process Leadership: Lead client qualification, relationship building, needs evaluation, solution development, and closing stages of the sales process.
Client Onboarding: Oversee the Fidelity onboarding program, ensuring a smooth transition and high customer satisfaction for all new clients.
CRM Management: Actively utilise CRM software to document all sales activities, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records.
Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to develop technical skills and maximise sales revenue potential.
Regular Reviews: Participate in regular pipeline reviews and customer meetings, both on-site and at Fidelity facilities.
Representation and Networking: Positively represent Fidelity in all interactions with the public, customers, vendors, and colleagues.
Compliance: Adhere to Fidelitys standards on health and safety, and operate in line with the companys Purpose, Mission, Vision, and Values.
What Were Looking For: Experience: Demonstrable experience in B2B sales, within fulfilment, warehousing and distribution.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and CRM software; previous experience with HubSpot is advantageous.
Communication: Excellent communication skills across all media, with confident presentation abilities to both large and small audiences.
Analytical Skills: Strong numeracy skills for calculating quotations, discounts, interest, and commissions. Ability to interpret various forms of data and instructions.
Customer Service: A strong focus on customer service and the ability to solve practical customer problems effectively.
Additional Requirements: Full UK driving license with access to a vehicle
