About The Role

The role of Communications BDM will be to secure new clients for Intercity Technology by sourcing new sales opportunities from within a target market, sector or region and winning that business. This will be across thefull portfolio of Intercity Communications products ranging from Mobile, Fixed Line, WAN, Connectivitythrough to Hosted Voice, PBX and UC.

Key responsibilities:

This will include but is not limited to:
Deliver a 'New Business Gross Profit target, broken down quarterly and monthly.
Achieve pre-set KPI`s geared towards generating opportunities.
Devise a strategy for targeting your agreed market, sector or region.
Work with internal marketing, telemarketing and product specialist teams to compile compellingpropositions that address prospect need within defined target areas.
High contact of target market via different means to create frequent new appointments.
Build a strong pipeline of at least 3:1 ratio opportunity against target.
Pro-actively promote all products and services of Intercity Technology Ltd.
Follow up on referrals and any new leads provided.
To liaise with internal staff to ensure new business is provisioned correctly.
Engage sales product specialists and pre-sales within Intercity to support opportunities.
Be flexible and willing to develop product and wider market knowledge.
