Location: Cheltenham, Gloucestershire 

Hours: Full-time, Permanent 

Salary: £30,000 to £40,000 basic + bonus + exceptional benefits package 



Job Description

Key Responsibilities of a Business Development Manager 




  • Proactively prospect new clients through well-researched, personalised outreach via various communication channels. 

  • Schedule meetings and develop strong relationships with potential clients, clearly communicating how the company’s services can add value to their operations. 

  • Attend industry events to network and identify prospective clients, representing the company with enthusiasm and expertise. 

  • Promote operational excellence within the organisation, contributing to the continuous improvement of services and processes. 

  • Provide timely and consistent follow-up on partner requests and queries, ensuring a high level of satisfaction. 



Key Skills of a Business Development Manager 




  • Proven experience in sales, with a demonstrated ability to engage effectively with clients. 

  • Excellent communication and organisational skills, with a reliable, positive, and detail-oriented approach. 

  • Strong follow-up skills and the ability to interact confidently with stakeholders at all levels. 

  • A willingness to learn and develop additional skills, with a focus on achieving results and exceeding targets.
