Overview:
Our Electrical Wholesale client based in Chelmsford, are looking for someone within the local area to join their team as a Business Development Manager.

In this role your commission earning potential is uncapped, so the more you put in, the more you'll get out!

You MUST have good local knowledge of the area for this role.

Responsibilities:
• Calling on regular spending accounts, re-contacting and activating dormant accounts.
• Researching and targeting potential new business in the local area, opening accounts and building relationships.
• Liaise with the internal team and manager, to ensure customer orders are processed and fulfilled in a timely manner.
• Planning and managing your own diary and work load, planning visits and working the patch.

Skills/experience:
• Good knowledge of the Chelmsford area and surrounding.
• Ability to build relationships with a variety of customers.
• Driving Licence.
• A background in Electrical Wholesale or similar industries (building, plumbing merchants etc.)
• A general understanding of the requirements of a BDM role.
