Business Development Manager

Business Development Manager - Packaging industry.
Our client, a long-established leader in the packaging industry, is adding to their team with a suitably experienced Business Development Manager.
The role attracts a company car, laptop and mobile phone amongst other benefits.
We're looking for someone who is used to building business and managing accounts within the pharmaceutical and food & beverage industries.
The role involves working across the UK to build and develop accounts for packaging supply.
Speaking to, visiting and developing accounts with new and potential customer, representing the business at trade fairs and conferences. Researching and scoping potential markets, exploring opportunities to add value to existing customers and bring on new customers.
The role requires:
Experience in a similar role within the packaging industry or selling to pharma/food and beverage customers
Strong business development skills and a successful track record of securing new business and managing accounts
Project management experience to aid with marketing activities and new customer projects through the business
Negotiation skills
Capability of producing reports and researching potential new markets
Keeping track of contacts and pipeline business - commercially minded
