Career-Bridge Recruitment are currently seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to join a successful thriving Devon based construction company to help lead and shape their growth journey.

As the Business Development Manager, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing the company’s capabilities and expanding its client base, working closely with project teams to ensure exceptional project delivery.



Duties 




  • Responsible for optimising business growth

  • Identify, source and target new sales opportunities

  • Managing and maintaining existing client base

  • Building strong client relationships

  • Lead the preparation and delivery of sales presentations, proposals and bid submissions.

  • Manage and maintain relationships with an existing client base while building strong, lasting partnerships 

  • Lead the preparation and delivery of impactful sales presentations, proposals, and bid submissions 

  • Collaborate closely with project teams to align client expectations and project outcomes. 

  • Monitor and report on sales performance, adapting strategies to meet or exceed targets. 

  • Utilize strong expertise in sales, marketing, and digital platforms to strengthen the company’s market presence 



What you will need 




  • Proven experience as a Business Development Manager within the construction industry 

  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and lead teams effectively 

  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal 

  • A dynamic, results-driven approach to business development 

  • In-depth understanding of construction processes and the ability to discuss technical details with clients and colleagues 

  • Demonstrated expertise in sales and marketing strategies, including digital platforms and social media 

  • A passion for the construction industry and a proactive, problem-solving mindset
