Are you a Business Development Manager experienced within the food industry working with retailers looking for an exciting new opportunity?

Reporting directly to the Commercial and Finance Director, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of UK customers, maximising revenue, share of wallet and profit by building relationships, following up leads and identifying and closing opportunities. The BDM plays a crucial role in ensuring customer satisfaction and business growth, this is an exciting opportunity for someone who has passion for customer satisfaction and would like to be working in a growing industry. The BDM will have experience working in the food industry and be comfortable working with retailers.
Business Development Manager Benefits:
Up to £55,000pa plus bonus.

Working hours - Monday - Thursday 08:00am - 16:30pm / Fri 08:00am - 15:30pm - this role is a hybrid role, with 3 days a week in the office.
Business Development Manager Main Duties and Responsibilities:
Collaborate with various departments such as production, customer services and supply chain to align business development activities with overall business goals.
Manage all required digital and site meetings in accordance with agreed requests.
Work towards KPI sales- based targets.
Identify opportunities and converting them into profitable business.
Optimise revenue streams through innovative solutions and effective negotiation.
Oversee the overall sales process.
Develop and present proposals tailored to each client specific business needs.
Business Development Manager Essential Skills, Experience and Qualifications:
Degree qualified or have an equivalent level qualification or experience.
Experience within the food industry and working with retailers is essential.
Previous experience in sales / customer service role.
Comfortable using the MS Office suite.
Excellent planning, organisational and communication skills.
