ABI Business Development Manager

As the ABI Business Development Manager, you will lead growth initiatives and drive portfolio expansion for our ABI services. Collaborating with Placement Managers and operational leaders, you will identify opportunities, develop strategic plans, and ensure services are responsive to market demands. Your leadership will be instrumental in achieving our ambitious growth and occupancy targets.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Growth: Develop and execute national strategies to identify and secure new business opportunities.
Occupancy Management: Oversee Placement Managers to ensure high occupancy rates and successful referrals.
Market Insight: Analyse commissioning trends and competitor landscapes to inform growth strategies.
Stakeholder Engagement: Build relationships with commissioners, families, and external professionals.
Collaborative Leadership: Work closely with operational teams to align business development with company objectives.

Proven experience in business development within the health and social care sector.
Strong leadership and people management skills, with experience driving team performance.
Commercially focused with the ability to meet growth and financial targets.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills, capable of influencing at all levels.
Proficiency in CRM tools and market data analysis.
