Working Hours: Monday-Thursday 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM | Friday 7:30 AM - 1:00 PM
Salary: �48,000 - �52,000

About the Role:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Business Development Specialist to join a rapidly growing business based in Lichfield. As the company expands, they are seeking an individual with a strong engineering background, preferably from the automotive industry. The role will be primarily office-based, with monthly travel to clients across Europe.

This company is part of a larger group and specializes in manufacturing components for the automotive industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Drive growth by identifying and securing new business opportunities within the automotive and related sectors across Europe.
• Cultivate and nurture relationships with key clients, offering customized solutions to meet their needs.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless project delivery and client satisfaction.
• Prepare proposals, contracts, and other business development documents.
• Analyze market trends and competitors to stay ahead of industry changes and help shape strategy.
• Represent the company at meetings, conferences, and events across European markets.
• Partner with senior leadership in strategic planning and market expansion.
• Collaborate with Sales and Managing Directors to set and meet budgets, targets, and sales goals.
• Analyze customer samples and weld tests to recommend suitable solutions.
• Provide support to the service and engineering teams.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Proven experience in a Business Development role.
• Strong engineering background with a technical mindset.
• HND, HNC, or Degree in Engineering (preferred).
• Experience within the automotive sector is highly desirable.
• Ability to identify new business prospects, negotiate contracts, and close deals.
• Excellent client relationship management skills.
