The Role:
As the Business Development Manager, you will be at the heart of growth. Managing a portfolio of key accounts, including distributors, OEMs, and end customers. Your technical knowledge and strong communication skills will empower you to drive sales, deliver outstanding customer service, and play a pivotal role in expanding market presence.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and grow a portfolio of key accounts with a focus on customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to capture new business opportunities and maximise potential with existing clients.
  • Provide pre-sales and post-sales technical support to customers, addressing product-related queries swiftly and effectively.
  • Work collaboratively with internal teams to meet client needs and ensure company objectives are met.
  • Conduct technical demonstrations, explaining complex product features to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Monitor sales performance, track metrics, and report on account status to senior management.
  • Overcome challenges and offer solutions to ensure customer satisfaction.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Proven experience in a sales account management role, ideally within a technical field.
  • Strong ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • A passionate communicator with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient in CRM Systems and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Possess strong presentation and product demonstration skills.
  • Be highly organised, with exceptional time management skills.
  • Excel in building and nurturing long-term client relationships.
  • Have a proven ability to deliver industry-leading customer service.
