The Opportunity:



Arc Locums is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Remote Business Development Manager with a proven track record of success in the Primary Care sector. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a dynamic and growing team, driving expansion and building strong relationships within a vital area of healthcare. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for identifying, developing�and closing new business opportunities with primary care providers.



What You'll Do:




  • Strategic Business Development: Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve and exceed sales targets within the primary care market.

  • Market Expertise: Maintain a deep understanding of the primary care landscape, including current trends, challenges, and opportunities.

  • Lead Generation & Qualification: Proactively identify and qualify new leads through various methods, including networking, industry events, and targeted outreach.

  • Relationship Building: Cultivate and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key decision-makers within primary care organizations (e.g., GPs, Practice Managers, Clinical Directors, CCG/ICS representatives).

  • Needs Assessment & Solution Selling: Understand the unique needs of primary care providers and effectively articulate the value

  • Proposal Development & Presentation: Prepare and deliver compelling proposals and presentations tailored to the specific requirements of potential clients.

  • Negotiation & Closing: Successfully negotiate contracts and close deals, ensuring mutually beneficial outcomes.

  • Pipeline Management: Accurately forecast and manage sales pipeline, providing regular updates to management.

  • Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including marketing, product, and customer success, to ensure seamless client onboarding and ongoing satisfaction. �

  • Industry Engagement: Attend industry conferences, workshops, and events to network and stay informed about market developments.



What You'll Bring:




  • Deep Primary Care Knowledge: A strong understanding of the structure, operations, and challenges faced by primary care providers and organizations.

  • Established Network: Existing relationships with key decision-makers within the primary care market are highly desirable.

  • Sales Acumen: Excellent sales, negotiation, and closing skills with a consistent track record of achieving and exceeding targets.

  • Communication & Presentation Skills: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and persuasively. �

  • Relationship Management: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and maintain long-term relationships.

  • Self-Motivation & Independence: Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote environment.

  • Results-Oriented: A proactive and driven individual with a strong focus on achieving results.

  • Tech Savvy: Comfortable using CRM software and other sales and communication tools.
