You will be responsible for increasing the company’s physical presence with focus on identification of new business opportunities on an outbound basis.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
Business Development duties will include but not limited to:
* Identification of new business opportunities through social media channels or otherwise and creating a first point of contact
* Identification of new business opportunities and wider scope through enquiries to, CRM brochure downloads & sample requests
* Utilisation of CRM target accounts. Ensure that target accounts are identified within this space for full transparency across the team.
* Making cold calls where appropriate
* Arrange and attend face-to-face meetings with clients with a focus placed on diary organisation to maximise the number of meetings and minimise costs.
* Showcase the Hill Cross Furniture offering by phone or in person with our client message at the core.
* Attendance of networking events
* Ensure periodic telephone contact takes place for new clients to ensure maximum output.
* Share marketplace innovations digitally, in person or by phone
* Inform the marketing team of any appropriate commercial news within the weekly meeting.
