We are looking for a dynamic and results-oriented Business Development Specialist to join our growing team and help us expand our reach.Job SummaryWe are seeking a dynamic and experienced Business Development Specialist with a strong focus on the Microsoft Azure platform, specializing in both infrastructure and the Intelligent Data Platform. The ideal candidate will possess a robust understanding of Azure services and capabilities, and have the ability to support presales engagements, conduct demos, and drive business growth through strategic initiatives.Key ResponsibilitiesBusiness Development:Identify and develop new business opportunities for Microsoft Azure and Databricks services, focusing on infrastructure and Intelligent Data Platform solutions.Build and maintain strong relationships with potential and existing clients, understanding their business needs and how Azure solutions can address them.Collaborate with sales, marketing, and technical teams to create and execute effective go-to-market strategies.Develop and present compelling business cases and proposals to clients.Presales Engagement:Work closely with the sales team to support presales activities, including requirement gathering, solution design, and proposal development.Conduct in-depth product demonstrations and presentations to showcase the value and capabilities of Azure infrastructure and Intelligent Data Platform solutions.Provide technical expertise and consultation to clients during the presales process, addressing any questions or concerns.Market Analysis:Conduct market research to identify trends, competitive landscape, and potential areas for growth within the Azure ecosystem.Provide insights and recommendations to senior management based on market analysis and client feedback.Collaboration and Communication:Liaise with Microsoft Azure, Databricks representatives and other partners to stay updated on the latest product developments and promotional opportunities.Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment and successful execution of business development initiatives.QualificationsEducation and Experience:Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Information Technology, or a related field.3+ years of experience in business development or sales, with a focus on cloud platforms, preferably Microsoft Azure.Strong knowledge of Microsoft Azure services, including infrastructure (IaaS) and Intelligent Data Platform (PaaS) solutions.Skills and Competencies:Proven track record of driving business growth and achieving sales targets.Excellent presentation and demonstration skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and capitalize on market opportunities.Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and partners.Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.Certifications:Relevant Microsoft Azure certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Engineer Associate) are highly desirable.
