Business Manager

Quadrature Climate Foundation (QCF), a groundbreaking climate-focussed foundation, is seeking a new Business Manager to join its rapidly expanding team. This exciting role will report into the Chief Science Officer (CSO) and will manage the Investment Approval Committee (IAC) process while also supporting the CSO in coordinating the teams to ensure organisation and team priorities are delivered effectively, which is key to the organisation's continued growth and ability to fund its partners.QCF was established in 2019 by the founders of Quadrature Capital and takes a science-based approach to investment, focussed on reducing greenhouse gas emissions, finding and scaling ways to remove greenhouse gases from the atmosphere, and managing current and inevitable climate change impacts. Since 2019 it has committed over £500 million to more than 200 global initiatives, and this role will be instrumental in expanding QCF's commitment and impact.As the Business Manager your role will involve:Coordinating the team's IAC project planner and organising IAC pre-brief meetingsOrganising the Programmes team to ensure adherence to key deadlinesQuality control on formatting and completeness of documentsOrganising documentation & slides for IAC meetings and ensuring a smooth processScheduling regular team meetings, taking minutes and tracking follow-up actionsOrganising monthly sessions on strategy and scienceVarious other duties related to planning and organisation of the Programme and Science teams The ideal Business Manager will:Be a bright individual, able to build relationships with and influence senior colleaguesHave strong planning and organisation skillsHave a passion for innovation in the fight against climate changeHave strong written and verbal communication skills The role will be based in the London offices two days per week and there are excellent benefits including 30 days' annual leave, a strong pension entitlement, amazing social trips and many others.The recruitment process for this role will involve a few stages including an initial call with the recruiter (Robbie Anderson); meetings with the QCF CSO, COO and Recruitment Lead and a practical assessment.
