Location: Near Hitchin and Baldock

Job Type: Full-Time

About the Role:

My client is seeking a proactive and highly organised Business Manager to support senior management and ensure the smooth running of office and business operations. This role is ideal for someone who excels in administrative tasks, project management, and has a keen eye for detail. You will be responsible for enhancing business procedures, managing schedules, and maintaining important documents. This role offers a salary up to �45,000, but my client may consider higher for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administrative Support:Provide comprehensive administrative services including diary management, booking meetings, planning events, organising travel, and preparing travel itineraries.
  • Meeting Coordination:Work closely with the Board and Leadership Team to arrange meetings, prepare agendas, take minutes, and follow up on action points.
  • Report Generation:Produce reports for senior management and directors as required.
  • Event Management:Organise awards, media appearances, and various events.
  • ISO 27001 Compliance:Support the Information Security Manager with daily activities, manage incident logs, maintain policies and documents, oversee audits, and track non-conformities.
  • Human Resources:Assist with HR tasks including recruitment, on boarding, training, and employee development using BreatheHR.
  • Financial Support:Aid finance and department heads with accurate reporting, reconciliation, billing processes, and budget management.
  • Supplier and Client Management:Provide day-to-day business support, manage on boarding processes, review contracts, and maintain supplier relationships.
  • Project Management:Lead the delivery of event meeting software projects, oversee on-site delivery, and conduct post-event analysis.
  • General Management:Implement new processes and systems, attend industry events, manage data protection, and resolve complex issues.

Skills & Experience:

  • Experience supporting Director/Board level.
  • Strong client relationship management skills.
  • Excellent financial acumen and ability to meet profit targets.
  • Highly organised with strong leadership skills and attention to detail.
  • Experience in leading face-to-face presentations and supporting business strategy implementation.
  • Crisis management experience.
  • Ability to travel for extended periods when required.
