We are looking for a strategic programme manager who has experience supporting large programmes, driving forward business needs. You will be overseeing a team of Delivery Managers, whilst also supporting on the programme's strategy relating to business readiness. This programme is supporting a tech consultancy on a large-scale government programme.

Role overview:

• Adhere to GDS requirements throughout
\n
• Lead and manage the business readiness strategy for the programme
\n
• Test business readiness with business scenarios
\n
• Develop, implement and manage the delivery plan for business operations
\n
• Align technical releases with operational and business plans
\n
• Senior stakeholder management across partnering consultancies as well as senior civil servants
\n
• Attend board meetings, create and present relevant analytical reporting
\n

Requirements:

\n
• Experience with each of the above bullet points
\n
• Experience as a Programme Manager on a Business related programme is essential
\n
• High level strategic experience on large government programmes
\n
• You must have at least 5 years of experience managing large scale programmes within central government
\n
• GDS experience is essential
\n
