Job Advertisement: Teacher of Computing and Business Studies
Location: North Manchester
Start Date: As Soon As Possible to July 2025
Position: Full Time, Five Days a Week

About the Role:
Tradewind Recruitment is currently seeking a qualified and enthusiastic Teacher of Computing and Business Studies for an exciting opportunity at a large academy in North Manchester. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons in Key Stage 3, OCR GCSE Computer Science, Pearson BTEC Digital Information Technology, and GCSE Business Studies (AQA exam board).

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Delivering outstanding lessons that engage and inspire students.
  • Managing classroom behaviour with confidence and positivity, creating a productive learning environment.
  • Adapting lessons to meet the diverse needs of students.
  • Teaching a range of courses to help students build essential skills and knowledge.

Tradewind is looking for candidates from a variety of experience levels, including Early Career Teachers and experienced Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) teachers.

This large, well-established academy in North Manchester caters to students aged 11 to 16. Requirements:
To be considered for this position, you must:

  • Hold QTS Status or QTLS.
  • Have the legal right to work full-time in the UK.

  • This position is subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable), and professional reference checks.
