Main Function of the role:
To be the first point of contact and provide support to all Finance business users on applications used by these areas.
Some of the key applications include:
• Infor BI
• Proactis - P2P
• Professional Advantage – Advanced Inquiry, B4B and Bank Reconciliation
• Infor SunSystems and Q&A
• Broadridge Revport
You may also be required to aid other team members and internal projects when required.
Experience required:
Proven experience interacting directly with end users.
Experience within an application support role.
An understanding of Finance and key operational areas.
Basic SQL knowledge.
Industry related business knowledge – Property Management, Property Investment, Property Fund Management.

Key task and responsibilities:
Provide day-to-day application support to Federated Hermes International business users, ensuring that issues are logged on Cherwell.
Investigate operational issues and resolve them or escalate as appropriate.
Create or update procedures.
All aspects of systems user administration.
System administration and first line of support for all Finance systems.
Extensive business stakeholder engagement. Work closely with the Finance functional area.
Provide occasional weekend cover for any testing post infrastructure changes, e.g. BCP tests, patching.
Help ensure that business users understand the functionality of Finance applications, particularly enhancements following upgrades.
Help train business users as required.
Help provide support to projects on the finance applications, such as upgrade testing.
Candidate Profile:
A self-motivated and results orientated individual with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Good interpersonal skills with the ability to liaise effectively with people at all levels across the business (Business Users, Production, Technical, QA and Development) and actively participate in the Hermes Change Management process. Good time management skills.
Adaptability and flexibility.
Good communication skills - including listening, ability to clearly explain resolutions to business users.
Ability to establish positive relationships and maintaining contact with the user community.
Strong analytical approach to problem solving, with the ability to understand the issue, identify resolutions and implement preferred solutions.
A strong team player, with the ability to work within a diverse and multi-skilled team.
Ability to work under pressure and manage a varied workload and be able to prioritise effectively.
Results oriented.
Able to convey technical scenarios to non-technical peers.
