Business Systems Analyst

In this role, working for a highly reputable London Market InsurTech, you will form part of a high performing agile squad where, alongside the Data Engineering Manager and Principal Product Manager, you will lead the gathering of requirements for a data platform. Your solutions will be critical to our data and analytics domain and to the continued success of the company. Key Responsibilities: Act as a data subject matter expert for our new data platform, supporting business users and IT colleagues. Work with business stakeholders to understand their data requirements and document them at an appropriate level. Once agreed then translate these into stories and tasks for development. Utilise specialist knowledge and experience of business areas, products and systems to ensure effective and innovative technical solution design. Work with QA colleagues to support the robust testing of changes. Plan and facilitate requirements elicitation sessions such as workshops and 1-to-1 interviews. Conduct system prototype demonstrations to validate requirements. Assist the digital product manager in facilitating the prioritisation of business requirements. Key Experience: General and London Market Insurance domain experience. Must have excellent Property and casualty (P&C) insurance domain experience Must have good P&C insurance domain experience in recent project/Companies Must have hands on SQL experience. Experienced in defining data lineage from source systems to an Enterprise Data Warehouse. Solid understanding of agile delivery methodologies. Strong oral and written communication skills. Strong problem-solving skills. Ability to influence others to improve processes and application quality.
