The vacancy
We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Business Systems Developer (Integration) to join our multidisciplinary team. You will play a crucial role in ensuring operational excellence and consistency across our services, aligning with DN Colleges’ strategies, plans, and priorities.
Key Responsibilities
* Assist in the daily operation and maintenance of business systems, including HR, LMS, MIS, and other enterprise applications.
* Design, develop, implement, and support data & information assets that align with the operational and strategic needs of the colleges.
* Provide technical support to first-line and second-line Group services roles, resolving system-related issues promptly.
* Collaborate with vendors and internal stakeholders to ensure successful deployment and integration of new systems or features.
* Monitor system performance, ensuring high availability and reliability of all data flow assets.
* Assist in the planning, execution, and management of system upgrades and new implementations.
* Analyse current business processes and systems to identify areas for improvement and recommend solutions.
* Ensure the security, integrity, and reliability of data & information assets.
Professional Development
* Regularly update your specialist area(s) and participate in staff development activities.
* Actively participate in performance reviews and appraisals.
Generic Responsibilities
* Work collaboratively across BSI and IT to ensure high-quality service provision.
* Represent DN Colleges Group values, championing equity, equality, diversity, and inclusion.
* Support the DN Colleges annual programme of events and plan for increased service demand during peak times.
* Demonstrate continual learning and development, both individually and within the wider team.
Essential Criteria:
* A degree or relevant working experience in computer science or a related field.
* Proven experience working within a relatable field under guided and autonomous direction.
* Proficiency in SQL and relational database management systems (RDBMS).
* Excellent communication, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
* Experience in data integration and business logic using programming languages and third-party integrations.
