Buyer - Fresh Produce / Spanish Speaking

A fantastic opportunity has become available to join our Client; a unique and ever-expanding leader in the supply of quality Fresh Produce to retail customers in the UK. They are seeking a Buyer / Procurement Manager to join the team.

The position of Fresh Produce Buyer / Procurement Manager will join an established and successful business to become a key member of the UK buying team. The Buyer / Procurement Manager position will report to and work alongside the Director to provide support across the procurement function, with a key focus on Fresh Produce product ordering, product quality, shipment agendas and associated paperwork. The Buyer / Procurement Manager position will be integral to the team and will assist in managing the communication with suppliers both in the UK and Overseas effectively.

Requirements;

Spanish speaking is essential

Experience of buying / procurement within the Fresh Produce sector is essential

Ability to work under pressure and make decisions is fundamental for success within Buying

High level of professionalism and a confident approach, with the ability to communicate at all levels

Competent IT user, with confident numerical ability

This opportunity requires an organised and pro-active individual, who is confident in a fast-paced & demanding environment, meeting deadlines & timescales. 

Location; Kent

Salary; £30-40k

Hours; Monday - Friday
