We are looking for experienced buyers/materials planners for a world leading airline company based out of Cardiff Airport.
The responsibilities would include:
- Managing the acquisition and disposal of inventory to meet objectives and budgets.
- Using available planning information and systems to effectively forecast inventory requirements
- Managing a delegated section of the Material Supply
process
- Action materials buying plan, BOM amendments and performance measures for materials team, communicate as appropriate to suppliers and internal stakeholders
- Manage open order book in conjunction with Material Administrator
The ideal candidate:
- MCIPS qualified would be an advantage (Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply)
- Minimum 5 GCSEs, or equivalent, at grade C or above, including English and Maths, HNC/HND or Degree level is desirable.
- 2 years experience of working within a materials supply environment, at an MRO or similar environment desirable.
- Excellent knowledge of SAP and MS Excel
