Key Responsibilities:

  • Source suppliers and manage the procurement of materials, ensuring compliance with company policies.
  • Sourcing within Mechanically biased categories
  • Conduct tender processes and negotiate with suppliers for best value.
  • Manage procurement schedules and ensure accurate reporting of savings.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
  • Perform spend analysis and identify opportunities for cost reduction.

Requirements.

  • Proven experience in Purchasing / Procurement
  • Experience in a Mechanical bias purchasing role
  • CIPS qualified or equivalent preferred
  • Experience within Engineering, Construction or Energy sectors
  • Strong ERP systems skills


Location: Cumbria
Perm: �38k - �45k (negotiable - dependent on experience)
Hours: Full Time, Mon-Fri.
