Buyer - Electronics/Electro-Mechanical Parts

Are you an experienced Buyer with a passion for sourcing and managing the procurement of electronic or electro-mechanical parts? We have an exciting opportunity for a proactive individual to join a dynamic team within a leading industry organisation.
Buyer Salary: �33,000 per annum + 10% bonus
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the timely order placement, supply, and expedition of raw materials, assemblies, and support services.
- Work closely with Engineering, Planning, Sales, and Manufacturing teams to ensure the smooth flow of materials.
- Prepare and distribute weekly expedite reports and manage selected suppliers to control inventories and ensure on-time delivery.
- Analyse ERP system exception messages, place purchase orders, and prepare necessary documentation for custom part orders.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, including ISO 9001 Quality and ISO 14001 Environmental standards.
Requirements:
- Strong IT skills, with a good working knowledge of the MS Office suite.
- Experience in purchasing electronic or electro-mechanical parts is highly desirable.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and within a team.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, and the ability to build and maintain relationships.
