Job Title: Buyer
Salary: £35,000 - £40,000
Location: Cambridge
Sector: Offsite Construction
Are you an experienced construction buyer?
Would you enjoy working on a wide range of projects across the new build sector?
A great opportunity to join a business who are operating across a wide range of different sectors including education, healthcare, retail & residential, delivering new build solutions. As a Buyer, you will play a crucial part in managing the purchasing process, ensuring that the supply chain operates profitably and efficiently.
As a Buyer you will be expected to:

• Update & improve the supply chain regularly
• Procure goods & services ensuring cost saving targets are met
• Manage all purchase orders
• Purchase materials & services in line with company requirements
• Liaise with the manufacturing & project managers to procure goods with their requirements
• Maintain cost competitive & quality assured suppliers

We would welcome conversations with Buyers who:

• Have a background in construction, manufacturing or logistics
• Possess the ability to manage and maintain relationships both internally & externally
• Are a confident communicator across all levels
• Can demonstrate strong negotiation & research skills
• Hold strong negotiating skills and can demonstrate this
