The Role
Are you a dynamic Buyer with a passion for strategic procurement? Join a leading automotive business and play a key role in managing supplier performance, driving cost efficiencies, and supporting business growth!

• Monitor and report supplier performance
• Support procurement strategies for direct & indirect commodities
• Negotiate and manage supplier contracts
• Deliver and exceed targets set through clear objectives that link to the overall business and functional strategy
• Work closely with global suppliers, including China
• Ensure compliance with best practices & health/safety standards

The Person

• Automotive sector experience in purchasing & project management
• Expertise in a manufacturing engineering based environment will be essential
• Strong supplier relationship management skills
• MCIPS qualified (or working towards it)
