Location: Wakefield Area | Hybrid Working
Salary: £40,000 - £50,000

We are looking for an experienced buyer with a strong background in engineering and CapEx to join a leading manufacturing business in the Wakefield area. This is an excellent opportunity for a buyer who thrives in a fast-paced environment and wants to play a key role in managing the procurement of engineering goods, services, and CapEx investments.

Key Responsibilities:

  Procurement Strategy – Develop and execute sourcing strategies for engineering and CapEx projects, ensuring value for money and supplier performance.

• 
  

  Supplier Management – Identify, negotiate, and manage relationships with key suppliers, ensuring compliance with contracts and service level agreements.

• 
  

  Cost & Budget Control – Drive cost savings through effective supplier negotiations and procurement initiatives, aligning with business objectives.

• 
  

  Stakeholder Collaboration – Work closely with engineering, operations and finance teams to support investment projects and ensure smooth procurement processes.
