On behalf of this organisation, AMS are looking for a C++ Developer for an initial 6 month contract based in London with remote work available.
Purpose of the Role:
Working within the Global Markets Risk and Pnl Technology, the Pricing team are responsible for the integration of Quant Analytics into suite of UI tools.
Responsibilities of the role:
As a C++ Developer you will be responsible for:
Working on migrating pricing tools to new web based technology while supporting existing tools.
Face directly with Sales, Trading, Trading Assistants and e-COM Business Managers.
What we require from the candidate:
Proficiency with C++
Deep understanding of Object Oriented Programming, SOA, patterns and principles.
Deep understanding of .NET/.NET Core C#, with a good knowledge of its ecosystem.
Deep understanding of server-side technologies including ASP Core.NET, Kafka.
Ability to write efficient algorithms.
Ability to work independently.
Analytical skills.
Attention to detail is essential especially when under pressure and time constraints.
Proactive, disciplined and flexible approach to dealing with challenges.
Highly motivated to work directly for a front-office IT team.
Experience with pricing and risk system in any asset class (nice to have)
