C++ Engineer - Permanent - Hybrid Working

Hybrid Working: 3 days per week in the office

C++ Engineer with experience developing highly complex low-latency systems is required for a leading financial services electronic trading company to join their development team. They have an extremely strong brand and reputation within electronic trading and are looking for a C++ Developer who has worked with in electronic trading and on Low Latency systems.

As a C++ developer you will be adept in producing quality code, ideally for the financial services sector for trading. If you have been developing mission critical systems for any engineering industry you could be considered for this role where you will have worked within an electronic trading environment for either FX, FIX Equities, eFX or similar for low-latency electronic trading systems. This includes the full software development lifecycle with experience from development to automated testing of code; DevOps, CI/CD and Unit Testing.

This position will give you the opportunity to develop some of the most precise electronic trading systems under the umbrella of a large well known financial services brand.

The team are working on a part time remote basis, with 3 working days in the City of London office in a prime location, with the rest working from home. This will be offering a highly competitive salary within an organisation that has a very well renowned bonus culture

Skills:

• C++ development experience (minimum 3 years)
• Excellent communication skills
• Developing low-latency systems ideally, electronic trading environment for eFX, FX, FIX or similar.
• Strong eye for detail and experience working on mission critical systems
• Working on Linux systems
• Experience with TCP/IP
• CI/CD for code release and experience in automated testing.
