A leading corporate banking and capital markets organisation is seeking a C#.NET Developer - Commodities & Regulatory Reporting Specialist to join their team in London.
Cluster Description:
Commerzbank ATS Cluster covers activities related to sales and trading for Commerzbank for various asset classes. The cluster forms a major part of an agile organization bringing together Business and IT to transform Commerzbank capacity to deliver software. Focus is given on driving technologies and understanding business needs to achieve the company’s objectives.
Job Purpose:
Provide IT development for and delivery to the Commodities business in particular regulatory systems.
Extend IT system functionality for commodity regulatory systems focused on OTC transactions.
Developing C# .Net applications.
Assist 1st and 2nd line support it problem resolution.
Work closely with existing Dev Team who are based in the UK.
Work with other team members to deliver business value via frequent, regular Sprints.
Develop full-stack solutions – user interface, business logic, services and data layer.
Interact directly with Front Office when required.
Personal Skills:
Graduate with a degree in software engineering or similar.
Solid experience of C# development utilising the standard Microsoft stack (WPF, WinForms, WCF, EntityFramework, SQL Server).
Experience with FpML and MxML also preferred.
Able to work in a team and exchange and discuss complex ideas clearly and concisely.
Banking experience – especially around Commodities and in particular regulation around commodities specific regulation. Transaction Reporting, MiFID and Part 20 Large Trader Reporting experience preferable.
Good communication skills – both written & spoken;
Self-motivated, proactive and independent person;
Knowledge and experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment;
Specific work conditions:
A hybrid working model, the team members divide their time between working remotely and working in the office.
