We are currently recruiting for a CAD Design & Sales Support Engineer to work for a client based in Haverhill. The role is a full-time permanent position and the company is looking for someone to start immediately.
The typical working hours are 9:00am 5:00pm (Monday to Thursday) and 7:00am 3:00pm on Fridays. Overtime is also readily available in their busier periods.
Typical Job duties would include:
Providing technical support to customers, the sales and project management team
Producing and developing 3D CAD models, fully dimensioned production drawings and the CAM programs for the machine centres.
Responsible to meet the requirements of the production schedule and cliental.
Create route cards and bills of materials for the shop floor and purchasing department and keep drawing records and libraries up to date.
Help the sales team retain and generate new business. This will include producing rendered visuals and approval drawings to assist in winning orders, some estimating and customer/site visits.
The Successful Candidate:
Eager to develop current and new skills
GCSEs in English and Maths at grade 4 / C or above.
At least three years experience in industry of 3D CAD modelling software, including 2D, 3D modelling and 2D drafting.
