CAD DESIGN TECHNICIAN

EXETER

£35,000 - £40,000 + BONUS + TRAINING + BENEFITS

Due to ongoing success and company expansion, my client are looking to add to their skilled design team with the addition of a CAD designer.

We are looking for a talented CAD Design Technician. If you're a driven & highly motivated person wishing to craft out a successful and rewarding future in what is a truly unique environment, this could be the role for you. You will be working on a variety of interesting projects, spanning several sectors.

THE ROLE:

  • Producing high quality designs - 2D & 3D.
  • Participating in design meetings, providing valuable input and recommendations.
  • Producing designs for installation purposes
  • Look at existing process's and identify improvements
  • Coordinating design requirements with customers and suppliers

THE PERSON:

  • Experience using AutoCAD.
  • Ability to design for manufacture and assembly.
  • The ability to read and produce 2D and 3D production drawings.
  • Problem solving and trouble shooting ability.
  • Ideally possess an Engineering Degree, Minimum HNC.
  • Minimum of 3 years experience using AutoCAD.
