Job DescriptionRole- CAD DesignerSalary- £30,000 - £35,000 per annum (dependent on experience)Type- PermanentLocation- St ClearsMy client is a specialist Manufacturer. They are looking for an experienced CAD Designer to join their team near St Clears on a permanent basis.The Mechanical Design Engineer will ideally have the following attributes:3 years or more of experience in a similar Design / Mechanical Engineering positionKnowledge of a variety of materials and processes – Steelwork, Plastics etc.Excellent proficiency with CAD software – ideally Inventor, AutoCad etc. Degree / HNC / HND / BTEC / NVQ qualified in Product Design / Mechanical Engineering or similarProven ability to drive Engineering developmentGood mathematical and general engineering knowledgeThe ability to understand system requirementsBe self-motivated with excellent attention to detailHave excellent communication skills both verbal and writtenThe Mechanical Design Engineer role will involve:Using CAD for concept design and producing technical drawingsWorking on full lifecycle design projectsDesigning and developing new productsLiaising with manufacturing providersBeing involved in final assembly of productsCreating the required documentation for design as well as project reports / plansUpdating 3D models and drawingsInputting parts into the MRP system creating BOMsChecking drawings for sign offWorking in a small multi-disciplinary team on varied projects If you are interested in this position, please apply with an up to date CV as soon as possible.
